I crave the excitement of first touch
After a very long wait,
Then quiver from the excitement of closeness
As craving takes over,
And you can feel my breathing
Or I see my fingers digging into you.
Oh! I have been holding them back
For so long; but not anymore
Now that you’re here
They reign free.

Is that music we hear?
Like lullaby-
Is that us composing new notes?
I don’t know and I don’t care
We are together now,
Pour like rain on me,
Drench me all over,
Door to my soul is wide open
Oh! I can play all along.

Anticipation of darkness
Or shiver for thrill
Won’t stop me
From reaching the climax;
We were destined to meet-
You flared up my passion
We’ll only fuse into togetherness,
And once exhausted
Delve into silence
For redemption.

Like aftermath,
We’ll stay with one another,
With a warm feeling,
You and I
Can make our own world,
A world, where we can stall the time
Then again you are not just a book
Or I, a reader, for that matter;
Are we?

Today we have a unique theme. Conceit is a figure of speech in which two seemingly dissimilar objects are grouped together with the help of similes or metaphors. Conceit develops a comparison which is unlikely but is, nonetheless, intellectually imaginative. A comparison turns into a conceit when the writer tries to convince us a similarity between two things of whose unlikeness we are strongly aware of and, for this reason, conceits are often surprising.’
